Entry for Wed. April 4, 2007
So today we went to Occupational Therapy & it went great! I was so happy! Ryan didnt fight or compain the whole session (50mins). He let the OT sretch him & stand him up & sit him down..even put him on his tummy which he normally fights like hell. He did sneeze boogers all over her though! It was so funny! Maybe that was his way of paying her back.
All in all Ryan has been really good. I have to admit the baclofen is working wonders! I can actually say without a doubt that Ry is a happy boy. I would sometimes wonder if he was happy or what he would be thinking of. Well now he lets me know that he is happy. He is smiling alot more & even more vocal!
The issue of the moment is his throwing up. The past few days Ive been having to slow his feeding down. Normally he gets 190mls over 1 hour, lately Ive been giving the same amount but over 1 1/2-2 hours. He's been gaging then will throw up. I can stop him from throwing up if I catch it on time & vent him right away. He sometimes goes through spells like this then it just stops. We got to the dr next week so if it continues I'll ask about it.
