Entry for August 7, 2007
This weekend Big Eric & I took Ryans sister Jazmin & my nephew Arturo to Six Flags Magic Mountain. We had such an awesome time. We had been feelingbad because we havent beena ble to do very many fun things with Jazmin while she's been here. This was her last weekend here & we wanted to end her summer with us with a bang.
So Saturday we spent all day getting on every roller coaster At Six Flags. We had such a great time. I felt so weird without Ryan. My sister, Andi, stayed home with him. It was pretty hot out there so I know it would not have been good for him. It was also nice not to have to worry about a schedul for one day. Just being able to go & enjoy the park & not have to take turns getting on rides like we had to at Disneyland last year. I missed Eric Ryan so much! All day long I felt like I was forgetting something, & it was my Boog-a-boo! I kept calling home & my sister was like "He's doing great. Leave us alone!". Andi is so awesome with him. I dont know what I would do without her.
On Sunday we went to the local water park. I was a little disapointed becasue we had a late start, we didnt get in til about 2am from Magic Mountain. Then it turns out the water park closes early on Sundays. But the kids had a good time & Ryan stayed with Andi at home again. I was sad about that too. The weather was perfect to have him out there.
Last night I went to dance class. Im proud that Im sticking to it. Im having so much fun. We are getting ready for a few different shows & have to know about 4 routines. We started doing a 45min worm up before we get into the rountines & it is kicking my butt! Im waking up sore! But it really does feel good. Next week we're going to work on a "Dirty Dancing" routine & they want us to take a partner. I asked Big Eric & he said yes! Im really excited about that.
Ryan is still having a few breathing trouble epiodes a day. But he has been in a really good mood the last few days. Last night before class we went to Johns Incredible Pizza. (Not a very good idea to go to an all you can eat pizza place before dance) Ryan was so good! Just chillen & looking at all the lights from the games. Jazmin got blessed a few times. They were having problems with some of the machines & we told a worker that we didnt get tickets from 1 of the games. He worked on it & out comes a ton of tickets. Then he just walked away. Another time she got a free game. In the end she had 577 tickets & got lots of cute girly things.
Ryan has gotten back into going to sleep aout 10pm on his own! I love it. I can lay him in his crib & play his music. By the time I have his overnight feeding going he's asleep! Not only that, he's sleeping through most of the night!
He's also gaining more weight! I dont know exactly how much more but I know he is from the way his clothes are fitting. Yesturday we had OT & the therapist was like WOW! Ryan had an ok session. He was letting her do what she does & not fight, but he also didnt help, at all! He was smiling & talking to us though & it was the cutest thing!
